At the young age of 15, John Gordon entered the family bacon business. It wasn’t long before he fell in love with the traditions of the smokehouse. The smell of bacon curing for hours. The smoky flavor in every strip.
Eager to capture every last ounce of bacony goodness, John discovered he could use the grease to enhance the entire cooking experience—well beyond the salty strips of pork belly. More than 50 years after his first day in the smokehouse, John’s still finding new ways to share his passion with chefs and cooks in every kitchen.
